The hard-core fans of CPBL barely forget Jose Cano, the former pitcher at the UniPresident Lions. His son, Robinson Cano, used to be there cheering for his dad at the pre-remodeled Tainan baseball stadium. Inheriting his father's sports blood, that cute smiling boy has grown to be a young talented player, serving for one of the best team in MLB arena. The managing team of the Yankees has probably made a right decision of not trading Cano, because he has just proved to be worth staying by handing in a beautiful batting average. After a struggling year of 2008, Cano has built up a stronger mental disposition, and will surely move towards success one step at a time. Besides his heritage with Taiwan, Cano is also one of Wang's best pals on the Yankees farm. Whenever Wang pitches, Cano always puts out his best performance.
Well, let's see how we transform this cannon with dark skin and thick lips into a lifelike bobblehead.
Hmm.... the feature is no doubt his thick lips and warm smile. Cano is known for his humours. His off-field duet with Cabrera often draws people's attention.
Like his Japanese teammate, Hideki Matsui, we also applied special arrangement on Cano's skin so that it adds some sort of rough texture on both cheeks and lower chin, which makes him look more like a professional baseball player.

.....from the back as well.

Let the picture speak for itself!
Except for last year, Cano's batting average has continuously been reliable. Naturally, we took this left-hander's posture after a full-loaded swing as the action of his bobber.

You might be curious about Cano's number. Isn't he supposed to wear No. 22? So why No. 24 now? Well, when the Yankees recruited "Rocket" Roger Clemens in 2007, No. 22 was already designated to him. Young Cano had no way to fight with Rocket, had he?

As the second baseman and the 7th-place hitter, Cano is now heatng up the field. We all believe that he is going to be a stronger and more consistent slugger for a few more year in the big apple. Born to hit-- that is our Q Jr., Robinson Cano.
